Mega Man Online Officially Cancelled

Mega Man Online CancelledSouth Korean developers NeoWiz, developers of Mega Man Online, has long rumoured to have cancelled their much-anticipated Mega Man project.

Previously unconfirmed, Korean gaming site Ruliweb have recently been able to confirm the cancellation after speaking with the developers. The game was apparently cancelled in November 2012 after discussions with Capcom.

This doesn’t come as a particular shock, as Mega Man fans have long lamented the lack of support that Capcom have been giving the franchise these days. But can we really blame them — if the series simply isn’t selling any more, can we really expect them to keep making new titles?
