One-Move Fighter ‘Divekick’ Coming to PSN This Summer

Divekick GameIf there’s one thing the PlayStation Network has, it’s the beauty of its richly diverse library; if this generation of gaming has meant only one thing to me, that thing is PlayStation Network.

With that in mind, developer Iron Galaxy (the guys behind Darkstalkers Resurrection, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins and Wreckateer) are developing Divekick, an interesting take on the fighting game genre that takes away all the confusing combos and strict gameplay methods and leaves you with one thing: a divekick attack.

Originally started up as a joke, this game gradually transformed into a genuinely interesting concept, first starting as a Kickstarter project before garnering the attention of publisher One True Studios. Although the game may sound and look simple, there’s still some degree of strategy: timing and precision make this game a high-tensity one and a total must-have for fans of competitive gameplay. Plus there’s a bear thing in it so, y’know… bear things.

Coming to PlayStation 3 and Vita this Summer, check out the high-kicking trailerĀ thing below.
