Activision Fires 40% of Deadpool Game’s Staff… Before the Game’s Even Out

Deadpool gameActivision have let go of 40 full-time employees of High Moon Studios, developers of the upcoming Deadpool game and the good Transformers games

Frankly, firing 40% of their team directly after finishing development of a game but before the game’s been launched is incredibly poor business standards. Seemingly firing 40 of the 100 team members to align the game’s production costs with its expected revenues, it begs the question why they gave the game a good budget if they didn’t anticipate sales could match it.

Set to release this Summer for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Activision are coming to come across as real jerks if the game sells very well.
