Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection Coming to PS3 in June

Metal Gear Solid Legacy CollectionRemember 2011’s Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on PS3/360/Vita? Well, apparently encompassing only MGS 2, 3 and Peace Walker isn’t enough for Konami, with the rumoured Metal Gear Solid ‘Legacy Collection’ now confirmed by the company for release this June.

With box art that looks suited for a movie poster, the PS3 exclusive collection celebrating the franchise’s 25th anniversary will include the first Metal Gear Solid, the HD editions of Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 (the latter including the original MSX Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 games) and Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions and Metal Gear Solid 4: Trophy Edition as well as two digital graphic novels by Ashley Wood.

All that in a frankly sexy cardboard box, it really is quite an all-encompassing package and a great go-to collection for morons like me whom have yet to properly play through a single Metal Gear game. For shame!
