Twin-Stick Neon Shooter ‘Clean ‘Em Up’ Goes Free

Described as ‘a twin-stick shooter with eye-candy effects’, Omidos Entertainment‘s Clean ‘Em Up was, simply put, a great game and encompassed everything I enjoy in a decent indie title — colourful, attractive graphics, a retro feel, boss fights, lengthy gameplay (70+ levels), achievements… it really was a game worthy of the likes of a paid model such as Steam.

In fact, it was originally released as a priced title a year ago. Unfortunately, the indie game scene is a tough one and the game didn’t hit its sale expectations — as such, to celebrate the game’s anniversary, Amidos has kindly offered up the full game free via his site or GameJolt.

If you’ve played and enjoyed any of his previous games (which I highly suggest that you do), you’ll be happy to know that this is certainly the best and most extensive game he’s ever had his part in creating. It’s a brilliant little arcade game and it’s a damn shame that it just simply didn’t garner the success that it deserved. Download the game here or directly from the site here.
