Created for the French ‘No Future‘ indie game contest by developer Pitoum, LUPA is a game that requires the use of both a microphone and a webcam to fake orgasm noises and flash your breasts to control the titular (no pun intended) character.
A morally ambiguous game, LUPA demands that you flash your breasts to make the on-screen prostitute do the same, beckoning over a new client. You then emulate moaning sounds to earn money from your client but must stop if a police car drives by. If, unsurprisingly, you don’t feel up to playing with this awkward control scheme (or lack breasts), the game’s camera and microphone detection appears weak enough to mistake you raising your hands as you flashing your chest and you can more-or-less make any noise instead of orgasmic ones.
If not controversial enough, it seems that enticing a cop car over to you will usually result in getting raped and some clients will simply murder you or give you an STD. I’m unsure if the game’s trying to make a point or be humourous or what, but it remains strangely intriguing on concept alone and worth trying out.
