FIFA Ultimate Team 14: Top 40 Players at the FUT World Cup Announced


With the 2014 World Cup kicking off in just 3 short weeks, EA Sports have announced their list of the top 40 players in the upcoming FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup mode, with players #40 – #31 being released today and the next #10 being released every day until Wednesday.

Notable absentees are Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Sweden, Gareth Bale of Wales and Robert Lewandowski of Poland all of whom play for national teams that failed to qualify for the World Cup in Brazil. The World Cup cards will feature a special design, updated stats based on player form and will just display players national identities.

Among cards #40 – #31 there were players such as Italian veteren, Andrea Pirlo who came in at #38, Manchester United’s Spanish playmaker Juan Mata at #32 and Real Madrid’s Croatian midfielder, Luka Modric at #31.



The announcement on the EA Sports will be updated every day from now until Wednesday, so head on over and check out which players will be grabbing the headlines at the Maracanã.
